Job Summary

Own the in-store brand voice by welcoming customers, sharing the Goose & Gander story, and turning browsers into buyers through styling tips and authentic, non-pushy service.

Brand & Community: Start conversations, gather quick feedback, and drive sign-ups and permission-based UGC.
Styling & Sales: Offer fashion advice, stay current on collections, and convert interest into add-ons while upholding the brand vibe.
Visual & Ops: Support merchandising, stock availability, and shop-floor cleanliness to maintain a on-brand presentation.

Grow the community: Drive email/newsletter sign-ups and loyalty opt-ins on the shop floor; encourage social follows and UGC with permission, highlighting latest drops and campaigns.
Style & sell: Offer styling tips and product advice; turn browsers into buyers while maintaining a positive vibe; stay knowledgeable about current collections, restocks, sizes/fit, and online exclusives.
Make it look G&G: Support visual merchandising to reflect the Goose & Gander aesthetic; replenish stock and maintain presentation standards across the shop floor and fitting rooms.
Keep things running smoothly: Assist with deliveries, stockroom organisation, and stock takes; follow cash handling and till procedures; keep environment clean, tidy, and safe.
What success looks like (your KPIs): Quality conversations started & email sign-ups captured; conversion and basket add-ons from styling advice; social engagement/UGC moments initiated in-store; VM standards upheld and stock availability maintained.

Requirements

1+ year retail experience
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexible to work weekends and bank holidays as required
Experience: Retail: 1 year (preferred)

Nice to have

Experience with email capture, loyalty, VM, or content creation
