Job Summary

Own marketing campaigns, content creation, and social channels to grow online and in-store sales while shaping the customer experience at the boutique.

  • Own marketing campaigns and digital content to drive product sales and engagement.
  • Drive social media and website-offer programs, with data-driven reporting to leadership.
  • Deliver exceptional in-store service and merchandising accuracy for a memorable customer experience.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create visually eye-catching marketing campaigns and website offers.
  • Create contents and drive engagement with the Cockburns brand to increase product sales.
  • Focus on social media marketing channels and content creation - Website, Facebook, Instagram , YouTube.
  • Systematically analyse and report the results of your web offers, and digital marketing efforts with recommendations to the General Manager.
  • You will also contribute to delivering exceptional customer service in our city centre wine store, where you will advise on retail wine sales to ensure a memorable customer experience.
  • Process transactions through EPOS system (both sales & payments) and payments on card machine.
  • On occasions you may be asked to work out-with your normal contracted hours to assist with in-in-house or external tasting events.
  • Be able to competently advise customers on a suitable choice of products.
  • Ensure the store is well stocked with products, visually merchandised and priced accurately.

Requirements

  • Experience with WooCommerce
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Experience with Mailchimp
  • Website maintenance experience
  • Good working knowledge of wines and spirits sold in the shop
  • Flexible to work five days per week including some rotational weekend work
  • Ability to lift and move full boxes of wines and spirits as required or requested

Preferred

  • WSET levels 1 & 2 to be provided
  • In-house product training & IT training provided
  • Interest in wine and spirits
