Design and execute social media strategies and campaigns to support brand storytelling and build awareness focused on public relations, thought leadership, company mission, community, products, initiatives, business development, and other needs in coordination with department leadership
Administer corporate social media accounts, maintain social media calendar, and manage social media communities to optimize reach, earned growth, and organic engagement
Plan, create, and publish compelling content based on the company's business objectives and user needs
Implement best practices and respond to changing environments, technologies, and trends
Track and measure platform performance and sentiment, report findings, and adapt approaches to optimize online presence
Collaborate with department staff, leadership, and product teams
As needed, support efforts such as crisis communications, media relations, external partnerships, and thought leadership
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum 3-4 years working in a professional communications environment with work related to content strategy and development, marketing, writing, and/or editing
Minimum 1–2 years direct experience in a professional social media role
Hands-on experience using social media platforms and third-party tools for content management and for leveraging social media data analytics to inform strategy and tactics
Exceptional writing, editing, and strategic content planning skills
Strong understanding of how to translate brand strategy and storytelling into channel-specific content
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others to complete communications projects involving multiple stakeholders and priorities
Experience ideating, writing, and editing website and/or blog articles in a professional environment
Ability to develop own ideas, take initiative, and assume responsibility
Ability to understand desired outcomes and independently ideate and implement strategies and tactics to achieve them
Ability to perform topical research to identify relevant angles and produce or upcycle related content
