Job Summary

Own end-to-end sponsorship and content partnerships programs, identify growth opportunities across formats and markets, and align cross-functional teams around a single plan for major titles while shaping annual planning and risk management.

  • Lead complex programs from deal structure to payment and scale
  • Size opportunities and write cases for approval across new formats and markets
  • Coordinate cross-functional planning for each major title

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own our most complex programs, like product placement and brand-funded content, from how deals are structured and approved to how brands are billed and the studio gets paid. Build the processes that let these programs grow without you in every conversation
  • Find where the business can grow next, whether that's a new partnership format, a new market, or a new way to package our content. Size it, test it with partners, and write the case that gets it approved
  • Know the Prime Video slate inside out. Size each new series and film soon after it's greenlit, looking at audience forecasts, talent, genre, and brand appeal, then recommend how big the opportunity is and share that view with the teams who sell and deliver it
  • Align Sponsorships, Content Partnerships, Marketing Promotions, and Consumer Product Licensing behind one plan for each major title before it goes to market.
  • Be our main point of contact with Programming, Studio Strategy, Finance, Tax, and Accounting. When a launch date moves or a forecast changes, work out what it means for our advertising customers.
  • Shape the team's annual plan and business reviews. Set the goals we track ourselves against, report on progress, and flag risks early

Requirements

  • 8+ years of management consulting, strategy, technology, venture capital, or a related industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving, or experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions
  • Experience presenting complex ideas in writing in the form of authoring white papers, proposals, or other formal strategy documents
  • Experience owning and driving large-scale cross-functional programs
  • Experience developing operational processes and technologies
  • Experience in media, entertainment, or advertising, including working with content, programming, or ad sales teams

Preferred

  • MBA
  • Experience designing and implementing operational processes across multiple teams, such as SOPs, approval workflows, or billing and payment processes
  • Knowledge of the studio content lifecycle, from development and greenlight through production, locked cut, and release
  • Experience working with programming, scheduling, or release planning teams on slate management
  • Experience building and maintaining a system of record, such as Airtable, and proficiency with SQL or BI tools such as Amazon QuickSight
  • Experience running recurring planning and review processes, such as annual operating plans and monthly or quarterly business reviews

Benefits

  • Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave. Amazon

Amazon is guided by four principles: customer obsession rather than competitor focus, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking. We are driven by the excitement of building technologies, inventing products, and providing services that change lives. We embrace new ways of doing things, make decisions quickly, and are not afraid to fail. We have the scope and capabilities of a large company, and the spirit and heart of a small one. Together, Amazonians research and develop new technologies from Amazon Web Services to Alexa on behalf of our customers: shoppers, sellers, content creators, and developers around the world. Our mission is to be Earth's most customer-centric company. Our actions, goals, projects, programs, and inventions begin and end with the customer top of mind. You'll also hear us say that at Amazon, it's always "Day 1." What do we mean? That our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon's very first day - to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and focus on delighting our customers.
