Job Summary

Own Platform marketing, set targets and plans, and lead 10–15 teams while shaping Modash’s growth strategy and cross‑selling efforts across Product, Marketing and Sales.

Own Platform marketing and the team
Set targets, plans, and measure against them
Grow leaders and drive cross-functional collaboration

Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead Platform marketing and the team behind it.
You’ll set targets, build the plan and measure against it, deciding where we invest, what waits and what we stop.
You’ll lead 10–15 people across several teams, mostly through their leads: putting the right people in the right roles, hiring where we have gaps and growing the leads we already have.
Make the Modash story land.
We have many products and exceptional engineering, but people still mostly know us for search. You’ll set the bar for editorial and creative work, and make product marketing something Product and Sales rely on all year, not just at launch.
Help shape where Modash goes next. We want to grow account value and retention, not just signups. That likely means moving upmarket and cross-selling more of our products to existing customers.
What the day-to-day looks like Here’s a handful of examples of what might hit your plate each week.
- Running 1-1s with marketing team leads. Ensure direction is clear, help them to identify & solve issues, and level up their teams.
- Working with me and finance on next year’s account value goal: what it would take for marketing to win larger customers, and what we’d need to invest.
- Review existing teams and initiatives: who is spread thin? What should we double-down on? Which initiatives should stop?

Requirements

Your experience includes:
- A track record of product marketing and creative work that made product stories resonate and delivered measurable impact, with clear examples of your contribution and results.
- A key marketing role in helping a company grow from roughly $20M toward $100M in revenue.
- Leadership of several marketing teams and their leads, including setting direction and developing leaders.
- Repositioning a product for larger customers, or growing account value through cross-selling.
- Deep experience in more than one marketing channel (e.g. product marketing, ads, SEO/AEO, creator partnerships). You mostly won’t be in the weeds, but you need to know what “good” looks like across the team.
- Building lasting collaboration across Marketing, Product and Sales.
- Clear writing, sound decision-making and the ability to bring people along.
- You don’t need to have held a VP title before. You might have been Head of Marketing, Director of Marketing or something similarly shaped in a company that managed to scale. And you don’t need decades of experience, just proof that you’ve run a marketing machine that worked.

Benefits

Fully remote in Europe 🏠 Work wherever is best for you, with a reliable internet connection.
Flexible hours ⏱ No one’s tracking when you log on. Do your best work whenever it suits you, with enough overlap to work with the team.
Unlimited paid vacation 🌴 If you’re rested and happy, you do better work. Take what you need.
Personal development budget 🧠 Courses, books, conferences. If it makes you better at your job, we’ll cover it.
Real ownership 💡 Space to make decisions and act on them. No unnecessary red tape.
Regular team offsites ✈️ We’re remote-first, but we make time to get together in person.
