Responsibilities

Serve as the senior strategic lead for media planning across assigned pharma accounts (HCP and/or DTC), owning the client relationship and being the go-to media expert
Drive development and presentation of omnichannel media strategies, partnering with cross-functional teams (account, creative, analytics, strategy) to deliver fully integrated solutions
Ensure all media plans align with brand goals, regulations, and industry best practices
Stay ahead of media trends, technology, and targeting capabilities, particularly within the healthcare/pharma space, and bring innovative thinking to clients and teams
Manage and mentor a team of planners, overseeing day-to-day execution while fostering professional growth
Partner with analytics to develop reporting frameworks that measure performance, optimize campaigns, and demonstrate value to clients
Support business development efforts and organic growth opportunities with strategic media recommendations and thought leadership
Contribute to agency culture as a senior voice within the Media department and larger leadership team

Requirements

8–10 years of media strategy and planning experience, with a strong emphasis on pharmaceutical advertising (including HCP and/or DTC)
Proven leadership experience managing both people and client relationships
Deep understanding of the pharma media ecosystem—including endemic platforms, targeting capabilities, data providers, and regulatory nuances
Demonstrated success in developing and executing cross-channel media plans, with fluency in media mix modeling, audience segmentation, and multichannel measurement
Excellent client-facing presence with the ability to command a room, defend strategy, and build long-term partnerships
Skilled in media planning tools, analytics platforms, and project management systems
Passionate about mentorship, collaboration, and elevating the role of media within a creative agency
