Responsibilities

Build and lead GEICO’s modern marketing strategy function, establishing new standards for how strategy is developed, communicated, and activated.
Define the frameworks, processes, and outputs that connect audience insight → strategy → execution → measurement.
Lead a team of 3-5 strategy and insights professionals.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the CMO and leadership team on the most critical marketing and growth decisions.
Elevate strategy from a set of outputs to a core organizational capability and competitive advantage.
Lead the development of GEICO’s annual and 3-year marketing strategy, aligning priorities to enterprise growth and long-term value creation.
Define the critical strategic choices—where to play and how to win—across audiences, channels, and capabilities.
Translate long-term strategy into clear annual plans, investment priorities, and cross-functional roadmaps.
Frame and solve the most important, ambiguous growth challenges, using structured thinking and data-driven insight to inform direction.
Deliver clear, decisive recommendations to executive leadership, shaping both long-term strategy and near-term action.

Requirements

10–15+ years in marketing strategy, consulting, or a related field, with experience operating at senior leadership levels.
Proven ability to move between high-level strategy and detailed execution.
Deep experience in customer insight, segmentation, and growth strategy, paired with strong brand and marketing intuition.
Exceptional storytelling and communication skills—able to influence at the CMO/CEO level.
Experience operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and leading through transformation.
Strong understanding of data, analytics, and emerging AI capabilities and how they apply to marketing strategy.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment across complex organizations.
