Job Summary

Drive technical marketing demonstrations and interoperability efforts for high-speed telecom products, leading demo environments and customer-facing sessions.

  • Own design and deployment of rack-level demos and production-ready environments.
  • Hands-on experience with data center hardware, networking, and storage, plus Ethernet/PCIe familiarity.
  • Collaborates across product, marketing, and field teams to deliver impactful tech demonstrations for events and roadshows.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Leadership:
  • Design, build, and maintain rack-level demonstration environments that showcase company products and solutions.
  • Partner with product management, solution architects, and field engineers to develop demonstration scenarios that highlight product value.
  • Support marketing campaigns, customer roadshows, and trade shows by preparing and deploying technical demo environments.
  • Collaborate with the events and marketing teams to ensure demos are production-ready, reliable, and visually impactful.
  • Collaboration & Advocacy:
  • Work with industry partners, customers, and internal teams to ensure interoperability and standards alignment.
  • Collect and integrate customer and field feedback to continuously improve demonstration effectiveness.
  • Work closely with Marketing teams to prepare and release promotional materials for new standards and technology aligned with major industry events (e.g. DesignCon, OFC, OCP Summit, etc.)
  • Documentation and Communication:
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert during customer-facing events and presentations.
  • Contribute to technical papers and represent Amphenol at conferences.
  • Manage logistics of demo environments, including hardware setup, software integration, and remote monitoring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in an Applications Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Marketing role
  • Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure, hardware integration, networking, and storage.
  • Conversant in Ethernet, PCIe, and related standards documentation.
  • Experience with interoperability testing tools and platforms.

Preferred

  • Comfortability and interest to prepare technical papers and present to large audiences.
  • Proficiency with virtualization technologies, orchestration, and cloud-native environments.
  • Experience supporting trade shows or technical marketing campaigns is strongly preferred.
  • Certification/extensive knowledge in Ethernet, PCIe, or other relevant standards.
