Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy that drives awareness, credibility, and share of voice in Egnyte's core markets, putting Egnyte's AI capabilities on the map
Build and maintain strong relationships with tier-1 technology, business, and vertical media outlets, with a focus on driving meaningful media relationships and earning AI citations that extend Egnyte's reach and authority.
Manage all aspects of media relations, including proactive pitching, press release development, press tour coordination, and rapid response.
Oversee relationships with external PR agencies and ensure alignment with brand and business objectives.
Develop thought leadership content and byline strategy in partnership with subject matter experts across the company, establishing Egnyte's executives as genuine thought leaders in the space.
Amplify Egnyte's digital presence through Answer Engine Optimization, ensuring the brand is consistently surfaced and cited across AI-driven search and discovery platforms.
Run a modern digital PR program that actually moves the needle.
Track, report, and continuously improve on PR KPIs including media coverage, sentiment, share of voice, and domain authority.
Lead the team responsible for partnering with the CEO, C-suite, and senior leadership to develop compelling narratives, talking points, presentations, and speeches.
Ensure executives are well-prepared for media interviews, panel appearances, earnings calls, and industry speaking engagements.

Requirements

10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, PR, or a related field, with at least 3 years managing and developing a team.
Proven track record of building and executing PR strategies for B2B technology companies.
Deep media relationships across business and technology press, with a proven track record of earning coverage in top-tier national, trade, and vertical-focused publications.
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling narratives.
Experience coaching and preparing C-suite executives for media, speaking engagements, and other high-visibility opportunities.
Strong social media acumen with demonstrated ability to grow corporate brand presence on LinkedIn and other platforms.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
