Sports and Lifestyle Social Media Manager

Responsibilities

• Social Media & Audience Growth
• Manage and grow our organic social presence across Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
• Create content for both our main Nickel & Suede account and collegiate athletics channels.
• Develop content strategies that reach new audiences, increase engagement, and drive traffic and sales.
• Monitor performance, identify successful content formats, and continually test new approaches.
• Help expand our presence on TikTok and identify opportunities for social commerce and TikTok Shop.
• Sports & Game-Day Content
• Create engaging content around college football, basketball, game-day fashion, and collegiate traditions.
• Identify opportunities around major games, rivalries, championships, and sports trends.
• Develop creative ways to showcase officially licensed jewelry and new school collections.

Requirements

• Has experience creating social media content that drives engagement and audience growth.
• Has a genuine interest in sports, particularly college athletics and game-day culture.
• Loves fashion, styling, trends, and storytelling.
• Understands Instagram and TikTok and enjoys learning what makes content successful.
• Has strong video creation, editing, and photography skills.
• Enjoys analyzing results and experimenting with new ideas.
• Is organized, dependable, creative, and self-motivated.
• Enjoys collaborating with others and being part of a small, hands-on team.
• Is comfortable interacting with customers, creators, and partners at events.

Preferred

• Experience in collegiate athletics, sports marketing, or sports-related content.
• Experience growing a personal, brand, or client social media account.
• Familiarity with college sports, NIL partnerships, or collegiate licensing.
• Experience with TikTok Shop, influencer marketing, or social commerce.
• Experience in fashion, retail, or direct-to-consumer brands
