Job Summary

Own and scale Industry Contents' social narrative by forging relationships with AI and SaaS stakeholders and turning interviews, case studies, and analyses into native social content.

  • Lead outreach and relationship development with AI companies, founders, and PR teams
  • Translate long-form analyses into shareable social formats such as LinkedIn posts and carousels

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • You will help Industry Contents build relationships with AI companies, SaaS businesses, founders, executives, PR teams, and industry experts, while leading how our stories and analysis are shared across social channels. Your work may involve finding companies and people worth speaking to, identifying potential story angles, researching founders and businesses, sending outreach, developing interview questions, arranging conversations, following up with PR teams, and turning conversations into useful content opportunities.
  • You will also translate our long form analysis, case studies, and editorial reports into native social content (such as LinkedIn posts, visual carousels, and bite sized takeaways) to grow our reach and spark discussions with practitioners. You may pitch Industry Contents to companies and PR agencies, respond to incoming opportunities, identify experts for specific topics, engage in key industry discussions online, and build relationships that develop into recurring collaborations. We care more about finding interesting people, sharp ideas, and real engagement than generating generic content or filling a publishing calendar.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of AI, B2B SaaS, startups, product led growth, and enterprise technology
  • Proven track record in B2B social media marketing, social copywriting, and organic audience distribution (especially LinkedIn and X)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with an analytical, fluff free writing style tailored to tech executives and founders
  • Experience with outreach, PR, communications, media relations, or product marketing
  • Ability to identify compelling editorial and social angles from product launches, case studies, company news, and industry data
  • Strong research skills and the ability to quickly understand a technical product, market shift, or business model
  • Comfortable writing cold outreach, direct messages, interview requests, pitches, and follow ups that get genuine responses
  • Skill in packaging dense concepts into clear, scannable social formats, carousels, and short form summaries
  • Able to build and maintain professional relationships rather than treating outreach or community engagement as a one off transaction
  • Comfortable using LinkedIn, social scheduling or analytics platforms, and AI tools for research, workflow efficiency, and outreach while maintaining a distinctly human approach

Preferred

  • Bonus: experience with basic visual design (Canva or Figma), tech journalism, newsletters, community management, CRM tools, or web analytics

Industry Contents

There is a lot of noise about AI right now. Amid vendors often overselling and analysts recycling vendor claims, Industry Contents does something far more foundational and basic: we explain what is working, so you can put it to use on the ground. We primarily direct our editorial content at businesses, operators, teams, and anyone curious to learn about AI. Every piece we publish is tested against on-the-ground realities. If we cannot back a claim, we do not publish it.The point is that when you make a call on AI, you should be making it on facts, not marketing. What we cover, and who it serves primarily• AI for Legal For law firms and in-house teams tracking what is genuinely changing in contract review, e-discovery, compliance, copyright and case research.• AI for Retail & Ecommerce. For brands and merchandisers weighing AI across personalization, forecasting, inventory and customer experience.• AI for Finance. For finance leaders, investors and fintech teams staying ahead on fraud detection, risk modelling and automated analysis.• AI for Marketing & Sales. For marketers and revenue leaders navigating content automation, lead scoring and customer insight.• AI Tools for Business. For operators and founders working out which tools are worth the budget line.• Industry Intelligence. For executives and strategists who need the view across entire sectors, not one vendor category.
