Nickel & Suede

Nickel & Suede started the viral teardrop leather earring trend in 2014, with over one million pairs sold. What began with lightweight statement earrings grew into a much broader jewelry and accessories brand—and a U.S. manufacturing operation in Kansas City. Our in-house manufacturing is still one of our biggest competitive advantages. It allows us to design, test and produce quickly, respond to trends and opportunities, create custom products, and scale successful ideas without the traditional timelines of the jewelry industry.Today, Nickel & Suede creates everything from everyday hoops, huggies and studs to statement pieces and officially licensed sports jewelry. We take the classics women already love, add something a little unexpected, and keep an eye on what she’ll want to wear next. Our growing licensed business includes 40+ college and professional teams, alongside wholesale partnerships, custom designs, corporate gifting, events and collaborations.
