Responsibilities

• The Social Media Business Strategist is a full-time remote role responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that advance Roarke Regenerative’s mission and growth objectives.
• This role involves planning and managing content across social platforms, optimizing channel performance, and aligning social media campaigns with organizational goals and fundraising initiatives.
• The strategist will analyze audience behavior and performance metrics, refine campaigns based on data, and identify opportunities to increase engagement, expand reach, and strengthen brand presence.
• Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with internal stakeholders, drafting and scheduling posts, coordinating visual assets, responding to community interactions, and maintaining a consistent, mission-aligned voice.
• The person in this role will also stay current on social media trends and best practices, advising on innovative approaches to highlight impact, partnerships, and environmental initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media management to plan and execute campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Experience with Social Media Optimization (SMO) and Content Strategy to improve visibility, engagement, and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication tailored to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze social media metrics, interpret data, and make data-informed decisions to refine strategy and content.
• Demonstrated creativity in storytelling and brand building, preferably within nonprofit, environmental, or mission-driven organizations.
• Proficiency with social media management tools and basic analytics platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or similar).
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Relevant education or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.

Preferred

• Interest in or knowledge of environmental sustainability, climate action, or conservation is highly beneficial.
