Responsibilities

Supports the organization's marketing initiatives by developing digital content and implementing organic and paid social media strategy, coordinating content distribution and managing social media communities for Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, First Physician Group, and its brand affiliates across social media platforms - Facebook, Instagram, Bluesky, NextDoor, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others as appropriate

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
A minimum of two (2) years of experience employed in a social media role creating social media content and graphic assets
Experience in a Healthcare setting is a plus
Experience in social media analytics and turning insights into actionable strategies

Preferred

Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and best practices: Facebook, Instagram, Bluesky, NextDoor, YouTube and LinkedIn
Knowledge of AI tools and AI optimization techniques
Basic social media graphic design, Photoshop and video editing skills. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Sprout Social and Falcon.io is a plus
Understanding of the role social media plays in executing effective digital and content marketing strategies
Excellent customer service skills
Critical thinker capable of working in a collaborative environment with the ability to be flexible and to adapt to rapidly changing situations. Solid organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Strong writing/copywriting skills, as well as excellent verbal articulation
