Social Media & Marketing Specialist / Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities

• Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms using tools like Hootsuite and Buffer to maximize reach and engagement.
• Monitor social media channels through social listening techniques to gauge audience sentiment, identify trends, and respond promptly to inquiries or comments.
• Design eye-catching graphics and media content using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite to enhance brand visibility.
• Implement social media marketing campaigns including Facebook Advertising and other paid promotions to increase brand awareness and drive traffic.
• Analyze digital marketing performance using Google Analytics, web analytics tools, and social media analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize strategies.
• Conduct keyword research and SEO practices to improve content visibility on search engines.
• Manage media editing tasks such as video editing and proofing content to ensure high-quality output aligned with branding standards.
• Support public relations initiatives by drafting press releases, managing media contacts, and fostering positive relationships with industry partners.
• Assist with general administrative duties including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, maintaining records, and supporting team communications.
• Collaborate with team members on branding efforts, content writing, proofreading materials, and coordinating marketing projects to ensure consistency across all channels.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management across multiple platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, or TikTok.
• Strong knowledge of social media tools like Hootsuite or Buffer for scheduling and analytics purposes.
• Demonstrated ability in content creation including graphic design (Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator) and video editing for diverse digital formats.
• Familiarity with digital marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms for performance monitoring.
• Experience executing paid advertising campaigns on Facebook or other social media platforms with measurable results.
• Excellent written communication skills with an eye for proofreading and content writing excellence.
• Ability to analyze data trends from social listening tools and marketing analytics to inform strategic decisions.
• Prior administrative experience supporting teams or managing schedules is preferred but not required; strong organizational skills are essential.
