Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Film our nail techs’ work, finished sets, and moments around the salon
  • Edit short videos and photos for both Instagram and TikTok, making each fit the style of its platform
  • Create carousels, story graphics, and captions
  • Plan and schedule posts in advance using a content calendar
  • Reply to DMs and comments during your shifts and help direct people to book
  • Track post performance in Instagram and TikTok analytics and share what’s working
  • Stay on top of beauty and nail trends
  • Bring creative new content ideas

Requirements

  • Proven experience filming nail or beauty content (please include your top performing work and your IG/TikTok handle)
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends or content strategy
  • Skilled in CapCut and Canva
  • Proficient in Instagram and TikTok analytics
  • Personable and professional with clients
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work in a busy salon setting
  • Able to commute to Ridgewood, Queens

Preferred

  • Experience with Meta Business Suite, Adobe Creative Studio (Lightroom or Photoshop), or Google Business Profile
  • Experience managing social media for a salon, spa, or other local business
