Social Media Intern / Content Assistant

Responsibilities

• Visit current clients throughout Essex County and surrounding areas to capture photos and videos.
• Create engaging short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social platforms.
• Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, trending sounds, creative formats, and content strategies.
• Assist with editing photos and videos for client accounts.
• Help plan, organize, and execute content ideas for different businesses and events.
• Assist with day-to-day client content needs and social media operations.
• Maintain consistent communication and meet assigned deadlines.
• Represent Boring Dog professionally when interacting with clients.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for transportation.
• Must own a high-quality smartphone, preferably a newer iPhone, capable of professional content capture or a camera.
• Prior experience in photography, videography, social media management, or content creation.
• Familiarity with video editing software such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends.
• Creative mindset with the ability to identify content opportunities independently.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Flexible availability for client visits, shoots, and events.
• Must be local to Essex County, NJ, or surrounding areas.
