Senior Media Planner

Responsibilities

• The senior media planner is responsible for developing and managing the implementation of media plans.
• This role also oversees administration, financial management, reporting, and optimization recommendations and execution.
• Additional responsibilities include developing POVs based on media valuation, managing and tracking budgets, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• In addition, this role is responsible for supporting business improvement by meeting personal and departmental goals and objectives timely and effectively.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• A minimum of 4-5 years of media planning and program management experience; current title of media planner or higher preferred
• Digital media experience
• Solid background in traditional media planning/buying within an agency environment
• Experience managing multiple clients and cross-functional teams
• Exposure to planning all media channels, both national and local
• Experience with core planning tools and systems
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Proven ability to translate strategic plans into flawless real-world execution
• Strong negotiation skills and experience with integrated multichannel media packages
