Job Description

Job Summary:
The Product Marketing Manager leads the development and execution of strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness, consumer engagement, and product performance across a portfolio of consumer-packaged goods. This role is responsible for positioning, messaging, go-to-market planning, and lifecycle management to support revenue growth and market share expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Marketing leaders in developing and executing 12 to 36-month product strategy, go-to-market plans for new product launches, line extensions, and other product-related marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with cross-functional marketing, ops, legal, and sales team members to align product marketing initiatives with business goals.
Coordinate integrated go-to-market plans across social, PR, creative, media, and channel marketing partners to align strategy, messaging, deliverables, and launch timelines.
Support the development of compelling product messaging, value propositions, key selling points, and content that resonate with target consumers and channel partners.
Partner with insights and analytics teams to track KPIs and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and product performance.
Work with the Creative team to ensure timelines are met and projects are completed on time.
Manage the completion and submission of Product Stage Gate Steering committee presentation decks, business cases, and charters to facilitate the development of products.
Manage the product marketing aspects of packaging label declarations, packaging timelines related to product launches, label change management.
Ensure product accuracy and consistency across all customer touchpoints.
Support with ensuring product names, claims, and copy are legally approved and comply with regulatory.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in product or brand marketing, preferably within a CPG environment.
Proven success in launching and managing consumer products across multiple channels (e.g., grocery, mass, club, e-commerce).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply findings into actionable insights.
Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills.
Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle and retail marketing dynamics.
Experience working with syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI) a plus.
