Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale Amazon Music’s worldwide mobile app acquisition strategy across major paid media channels, identifying where and how we invest to efficiently acquire high-value customers.
  • Own campaign strategy, investment allocation, experimentation, and performance optimization across channels including Google App Campaigns, paid social, Apple Search Ads, programmatic/DSPs, and emerging mobile acquisition partners.
  • Oversee and continuously improve mobile measurement, attribution, tracking, and data access to evaluate campaign and customer performance, including ROI and downstream business outcomes. Establish scalable reporting and optimization processes.
  • Translate campaign and customer performance into actionable investment decisions, identifying opportunities to scale, optimize, test, or redirect spend.
  • Develop and execute a rigorous test-and-learn roadmap across existing and emerging channels, partners, targeting approaches, creative strategies, and mobile acquisition capabilities.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with key advertising platforms, mobile ecosystem partners, and technology providers, identifying opportunities to improve performance and unlock new capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with product, technical, finance, business intelligence, creative, and business teams to execute complex, time-sensitive growth initiatives and improve the end-to-end mobile acquisition experience.
  • Partner with mobile marketing teams across Amazon to establish best practices, leverage shared capabilities and partner relationships, and advance a unified approach to mobile acquisition.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
  • Experience with mobile DSPs, Google App Campaigns, and/or familiarity with ad-fraud prevention mechanisms/tools
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with analytics, product, engineering, and/or creative teams.

Preferred

  • Experience with MMPs such as AppsFlyer, Branch, or Adjust and a strong understanding of mobile attribution.
  • Experience optimizing acquisition against downstream outcomes such as subscription, retention, LTV, or ROAS—not solely installs.
  • Experience with mobile DSPs, third-party app networks, and/or fraud-prevention solutions.
  • Experience with SKAN and privacy-preserving mobile measurement.
  • Experience managing large-scale or multi-country acquisition programs.
  • Subscription, consumer technology, media, or entertainment experience.

Amazon

Amazon is guided by four principles: customer obsession rather than competitor focus, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking. We are driven by the excitement of building technologies, inventing products, and providing services that change lives. We embrace new ways of doing things, make decisions quickly, and are not afraid to fail. We have the scope and capabilities of a large company, and the spirit and heart of a small one. Together, Amazonians research and develop new technologies from Amazon Web Services to Alexa on behalf of our customers: shoppers, sellers, content creators, and developers around the world. Our mission is to be Earth's most customer-centric company. Our actions, goals, projects, programs, and inventions begin and end with the customer top of mind. You'll also hear us say that at Amazon, it's always "Day 1." What do we mean? That our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon's very first day - to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and focus on delighting our customers.
