Job Description

Marketing Director

Arden Coaching | Full-Time | Remote (U.S.)

About Arden Coaching

Arden Coaching is an established, woman-owned leadership development firm helping organizations strengthen executive leadership, team effectiveness, and organizational performance. We partner with leading companies across industries to deliver executive coaching, leadership development programs, and team effectiveness solutions.

As we approach our 20th anniversary, we're expanding our marketing capabilities and looking for a talented Marketing Director to lead the execution of our integrated marketing strategy.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a smart, resourceful, hands-on B2B marketing leader who can turn strategy into results.

Our marketing foundation is established, with multiple programs underway across digital advertising, account-based marketing, content, social media, events, webinars, and thought leadership. We're also making extensive use of AI agents and automation to accelerate our work.

Your job is to bring all these moving pieces together, keep them running effectively, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure our marketing investments produce qualified leads and sales opportunities.

You'll report directly to the CEO, collaborate closely with our commercial leadership team, and manage a network of specialized agencies and contractors.

This is a role for someone who enjoys both the big picture and the details. You might spend one hour evaluating campaign performance and challenging an agency's recommendations, and the next troubleshooting a marketing automation or developing a creative approach to reaching a new audience.

We value people who bring ideas, take ownership, learn quickly, and genuinely enjoy working with others.

What You'll Own

Integrated Marketing Execution & Leadership

  • Own the execution of Arden's annual marketing plan, translating strategic priorities into coordinated campaigns, deliverables, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to refine messaging, identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and adjust plans based on results.
  • Ensure marketing channels reinforce one another rather than operate independently.
  • Maintain clear accountability for marketing deliverables, budgets, timelines, and results.

Demand Generation & Account-Based Marketing

  • Partner closely with sales leadership to develop and execute targeted account-based marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee prospect segmentation, multichannel outreach, email sequences, nurture campaigns, landing pages, and lead conversion processes.
  • Coordinate campaigns across email, LinkedIn, paid advertising, events, and other relevant channels.
  • Monitor lead quality, campaign engagement, sales handoffs, and conversion performance.
  • Continuously test and improve messaging, targeting, and campaign effectiveness.

AI-Powered Marketing & Automation

  • Serve as the primary marketing owner of Arden's AI-enabled workflows and agents, including Character Quilt.
  • Leverage AI for research, content development, campaign creation, prospect targeting, creative production, and marketing operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce manual work, and expand marketing capabilities through AI and automation.
  • Configure and troubleshoot marketing workflows, collaborating with technical specialists when necessary.
  • Stay current with emerging AI tools and recommend practical applications that improve results.

Agency & Vendor Management

  • Serve as the primary contact for our digital marketing agency, overseeing paid media, SEO, AEO, GEO, landing pages, and related initiatives.
  • Evaluate performance, ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and hold partners accountable for agreed outcomes.
  • Direct and coordinate our freelance writer, social media specialist, and other marketing resources.
  • Ensure vendors work collaboratively, meet deadlines, and produce consistent, high-quality work.

Content, Social Media & Executive Visibility

  • Own the integrated editorial calendar and overarching messaging strategy across marketing channels.
  • Guide the development and optimization of blogs, case studies, newsletters, social posts, and other marketing content.
  • Oversee daily social media execution, ensuring quality, consistency, audience relevance, and alignment with business priorities.
  • Support the CEO's speaking engagements, podcast appearances, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Ensure content is repurposed effectively across the website, social media, email, and other channels.

Events, Conferences & Webinars

  • Own the marketing strategy and execution for webinars, executive roundtables, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Develop coordinated promotional campaigns, invitations, creative assets, lead capture processes, and post-event nurture programs.
  • Work with internal administrative support on event logistics while maintaining overall responsibility for marketing effectiveness.
  • Coordinate webinar platforms, landing pages, registrations, integrations, and follow-up workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen event ROI through targeted prospect outreach and coordinated sales activities.

Marketing Operations & Performance

  • Manage the marketing budget carefully, evaluating expenditures against results and recommending adjustments.
  • Maintain marketing campaign tracking, reporting, and project management systems.
  • Oversee marketing technology integrations, data flows, lead capture, and attribution processes.
  • Coordinate with technical partners to maintain website functionality and resolve issues affecting marketing performance.
  • Provide clear, actionable reporting on qualified leads, sales opportunities, campaign effectiveness, and marketing ROI.
  • Proactively identify problems, recommend solutions, and follow through until they are resolved.

What You'll Bring

Required

  • Substantial experience in B2B marketing, including direct responsibility for demand generation and campaign execution.
  • Demonstrated success managing integrated, multichannel marketing programs.
  • Strong expertise in email marketing, marketing automation, audience segmentation, and nurture campaigns.
  • Practical experience using AI tools and automation to improve marketing productivity and execution.
  • Experience managing digital marketing agencies, freelancers, and external partners.
  • Ability to understand and evaluate paid media, SEO, content marketing, and digital campaign performance.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate numerous simultaneous initiatives.
  • Comfort working with marketing technology, troubleshooting workflows, and collaborating with technical specialists.
  • Strong analytical skills, budget discipline, and accountability for measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills and the judgment to work effectively with senior executives, sales teams, and external partners.

Especially Valuable

  • Experience marketing professional services or complex, consultative B2B solutions.
  • Experience with account-based marketing and longer sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with Monday.com, GoHighLevel, WordPress, webinar platforms, and marketing integrations.
  • Experience developing and improving AI agents or automated marketing workflows.
  • Experience working in a small, entrepreneurial company with ambitious growth objectives.

Who Thrives Here

You're a lifelong learner who embraces new technology and isn't intimidated by complexity.

You're strategically minded but don't need a large team to get things done. You're equally comfortable presenting recommendations to the CEO and digging into the details of a campaign that isn't working.

You take ownership rather than waiting for direction. You anticipate problems, communicate clearly, and follow through.

You know how to hold people accountable without creating unnecessary friction. You're curious, collaborative, and confident enough to challenge an idea while remaining open to being challenged yourself.

You work quickly, adapt when priorities change, and bring creativity, humility, good judgment, and a sense of humor to your work.

Above all, you care about results, not just activity.

What Success Looks Like

Success means Arden's marketing programs operate as a coordinated, effective system that consistently generates qualified leads and creates sales opportunities.

You'll be expected to deliver disciplined execution, measurable campaign performance, strong agency and vendor accountability, thoughtful use of AI and automation, and continuous improvement across our marketing operations.
