Own the research and analysis to identify target markets, ICPs, and buyers for Clair’s embedded fintech products, translating market signals into actionable GTM steps that drive ARR and user growth.

• Responsibilities: Research and analyze the embedded fintech, payroll, HRIS, and workforce technology landscape, as well as trends and fits for Clair’s product
• Responsibilities: Assess buying signals and market dynamics to identify and prioritize high-potential target customers and strategic market opportunities
• Responsibilities: Build detailed company profiles, market maps, and ICP segmentation frameworks, and determine potential buyer/decision makers and their circles of influence
• Responsibilities: Conduct competitive intelligence and track industry trends, partnerships, and market movements
• Responsibilities: Analyze market sizing, whitespace opportunities, and expansion strategies for Clair’s current and roadmapped products
• Responsibilities: Synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights for leadership in order to drive forward deal closing
• Responsibilities: Partner cross-functionally with Partnerships, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Data teams to develop comprehensive and concrete steps in our GTM strategy, driving ARR and usership increases
• Responsibilities: Help develop scalable frameworks for evaluating new business opportunities
• Responsibilities: Develop and action scalable frameworks for identifying target accounts, mapping key stakeholders, and helping Clair engage the right decision-makers within prospective partner organizations.
• Responsibilities: Support strategic initiatives and special projects tied to Clair’s growth strategy
• Responsibilities: Leverage AI tooling where possible to develop efficient and scalable research, contact, and closing processes

• Requirements: 2–7 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, strategic finance, corporate strategy, market intelligence, or a similar analytical role
• Requirements: Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Requirements: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to synthesize large amounts of information
• Requirements: Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Requirements: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating in a fast-paced startup environment
• Requirements: Naturally curious with a strong interest in fintech, payroll, HR technology, and embedded financial products
• Requirements: Highly organized and capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Requirements: Strong Excel/Sheets and presentation-building skills
• Requirements: Experience building market analyses, company landscapes, or strategic recommendations preferred
