Founding GTM Lead

Responsibilities

• Build the outbound engine. Own the full system from target selection and segmentation through messaging, sequencing, conversion and closed revenue.
• Continuously improve it. Treat the GTM motion as an evolving product. Form hypotheses, run experiments, study the data, identify what's broken and make it better.
• Own our GTM workflows. You do not need to personally engineer every workflow, but you need to understand exactly how they work, monitor their performance, identify failure points and clearly design what should change.
• Make AI a core part of how we operate. Use AI and automation intelligently across research, targeting, personalization, prioritization, messaging, workflow management, call analysis and experimentation. We care about measurable leverage, not AI for AI's sake.
• Build across channels. We'll start focused, but the long-term motion will not live entirely in email. You should be comfortable designing coordinated plays across email, phone, LinkedIn, direct mail and whatever else earns the right to exist.
• Own the funnel, not just top-of-funnel. Optimize for prospects who become real commercial opportunities and customers, not vanity metrics like email volume or meetings booked.
• Sell. Especially early, you'll be expected to get close to the customer: run discovery, understand objections, participate in calls and help turn opportunities into signed business. This is not a role where leads get thrown over the wall.
• Turn market feedback into company learning. Bring what you're hearing back into our positioning, offers, pricing, product and target-market decisions.
• Build what comes next. As we establish repeatable motions, help determine where we invest, what we automate, when we add people and how the broader GTM organization should evolve.

Requirements

• You've owned a revenue number before . Not just activity targets or a marketing program — an actual commercial outcome.
• You've personally built or materially rebuilt a cold outbound motion and can point to what changed because of your work.
• You've successfully sold something customers weren't already looking for. You're comfortable creating demand for a new or unfamiliar product, educating a buyer on a problem they may not have named yet, and turning that education into revenue.
• You're fluent across the modern GTM stack and deeply comfortable with AI and automation. If your experience with AI in GTM mostly consists of using ChatGPT to write emails, this probably isn't the role.
• You think in systems and funnels. You can look at a revenue motion, find where it is leaking, form a view on why, and design the experiment that tells you whether you're right.
• You're comfortable across channels. You may have favorites, but you're not religious about email versus phone versus LinkedIn versus direct mail. You care about what works.
• You're an excellent communicator and understand that cold outbound is partly a copywriting problem, partly a targeting problem, partly a systems problem and ultimately a value-proposition problem.
• You're highly quantitative. You want to know the conversion rate, the denominator, what changed, and whether an experiment actually worked.
• You are comfortable operating without an established playbook. An incomplete system looks like an opportunity to build, not a reason to wait.
• And you're unusually hands-on. We don't care whether your last title was Director, Head of, VP, Growth, Sales, Revenue or something else. We care whether you can own the number and do the work required to move it.
