Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Website Content Updating
  • Editing and posting content to our website(s), including text, project photos, videos, new products, careers, and more.
  • Social Media Editing
  • Scheduling and posting content regularly to social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) , monitoring comments and messages and tracking analytics.
  • Email Marketing Support
  • Create emails, templates, and strategize using our email marketing service provider, Pardot (Salesforce). Any experience in a similar provider, such as Constant Contact or Mailchimp, would be suitable.
  • Document Creation/Management
  • This position is not a full-time graphic design role. Still, it requires the ability to edit text in already designed documents in Photoshop or InDesign to support internal documents, business cards, and advertisements.
  • Research & Writing
  • Ability to draft written summaries of completed barn, home, or commercial projects. Researching partners and projects to stay up to date on progress. Assist in writing or proofreading internal news and announcements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital editing, with a proven track record of successfully increasing traffic on website, social, or email.
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, including website management platforms, email marketing platforms, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media services.
  • Proficiency in using Craft CMS, or similar website management platforms for content creation, optimization, redirects, and overall site management.
  • Strong interest in applying new technology to elevate digital strategy and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with strong initiative for identifying errors or challenges and providing effective solutions. Must be comfortable communicating internally through in-personal meetings, phone calls, and email, as well as engaging via digital meetings.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating to achieve common goals.
