Job Description

Responsibilities

Draft and edit key materials, including pitches, press releases, briefing documents, contributed content/bylines, and social media content
Conduct comprehensive media audits to identify coverage gaps and opportunities for clients
Oversee and maintain master media lists, ensuring consistent outreach to top targets across business, tech, healthcare, cybersecurity, and legal publications
Analyze news and trends to help develop big picture story ideas and identify white space to create new categories
Think outside the box to position clients as thought leaders and industry innovators
Conduct media outreach and develop, maintain and leverage key journalist relationships
Drive conference speaking and awards programs forward by tracking deadlines, recommending opportunities and writing submissions
Participate in internal and client brainstorming sessions

Requirements

Approximately at least 2- 3 years of public relations experience, ideally on AI, consumer tech, cybersecurity, wellness, legal, or B2B/tech clients
Administrative experience with tools like Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, etc.) and media databases (Cision, Muck Rack)
Demonstrated success securing coverage across business and tech press
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for various media verticals
Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven with the ability to stay organized and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Genuine curiosity about emerging trends and the ability to identify stories before they become mainstream
Experience with influencer relations and digital media is a plus, but not required
