Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Brand Management - Develop and execute an integrated marketing and communications strategy that strengthens the PRO brand, expands membership and partner awareness, to drive engagement and growth.
  • Strategic Leadership & Brand Management - Serve as the primary strategic marketing advisor to the CEO, aligning organizational priorities, annual communications calendars, and stakeholder messaging.
  • Strategic Leadership & Brand Management - Act as PRO's brand steward, ensuring consistent application of brand standards, visual identity, and naming conventions across all channels and collateral.
  • Strategic Leadership & Brand Management - Represent marketing and communications at board meetings, committee meetings, and organizational events as requested.
  • Strategic Leadership & Brand Management - Stay current on industry trends and best practices in sports marketing and association communications; champion new strategies and tools across the team.
  • Digital Marketing, Content & Social Media - Oversee content strategy and development across all platforms including social media (daily), email (weekly), the PRO website, and print/digital collateral.
  • Digital Marketing, Content & Social Media - Write and/or direct all copy for PRO communications including web, social, email, and printed materials.
  • Digital Marketing, Content & Social Media - Manage and optimize the PRO website, member community (The Huddle) and LMS, including content governance, performance analytics, and SEO strategy.
  • Digital Marketing, Content & Social Media - Develop and execute social media and advertising strategies that drive engagement, brand growth, and community responsiveness.
  • Digital Marketing, Content & Social Media - Deploy and measure content performance; make data-driven decisions on channel strategy and creative investment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive marketing and communications experience, including demonstrated design acumen and success leading integrated, metrics-driven campaigns.
  • 3–5 years of people management experience.
  • Previous experience in professional sports, association management, a marketing agency, or a mission-driven nonprofit strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting membership development, partnership activation, and/or revenue-generating marketing initiatives.
  • Experience managing digital platforms, CRM systems, and marketing technology stacks.
  • Minimum 2–4 years coordinating membership engagement activities in a professional, nonprofit, sports, or related environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Experience with website platforms and working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and management/scheduling tools.
  • Experience with CRM and project management software (e.g., Salesforce, Airtable, G Suite, Personify).
