Job Summary

Own and drive growth in the Americas by building and optimizing the player funnel, leading U.S. GTM for game launches, and expanding multi-channel acquisition and partnerships to boost new players, engagement, and monetization.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and execute growth strategies to drive new players, active users, paying users, and revenue across the Americas.
Own and optimize the player funnel from acquisition and activation through engagement, retention, conversion, and monetization, with clear KPIs and growth targets.
Lead U.S. go-to-market execution for game launches, promotions, and live-service initiatives, adapting global strategies and creative concepts to resonate with local gaming audiences.
Manage and optimize multi-channel user acquisition and growth initiatives, balancing player volume, player quality, and marketing efficiency against CPI, CAC, ROAS, retention, and LTV targets.
Identify, test, and scale new acquisition channels, creator/influencer opportunities, partnerships, communities, and growth initiatives that can expand CTW’s player base and revenue in the Americas.
Analyze player, campaign, and market data to identify growth opportunities and determine where to scale, optimize, or stop investment.
Monitor the U.S. gaming market, competitors, player behavior, and emerging trends, providing actionable local-market recommendations to Japan-based leadership.
Collaborate with product, creative, analytics, publishing, and Japan-based marketing teams to improve overall game performance and player monetization.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
5+ years of experience in gaming marketing, user acquisition, growth marketing, or performance marketing within the U.S. market.
Proven track record of driving measurable player acquisition, paying-user growth, revenue, or monetization results.
Strong understanding of the player lifecycle and how marketing, product, creative, retention, and monetization work together to drive game growth.
Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience analyzing and optimizing metrics including CPI, CPA/CAC, ROAS, ARPU/ARPPU, LTV, retention, and conversion.
Ability to translate performance data and market insights into actionable growth strategies and business decisions.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly performance-driven environment with significant ownership and hands-on execution.

Preferred

Experience with a gaming platform, mobile game studio, or free-to-play company.
Experience owning growth or commercial performance for specific game titles or a portfolio of games.
Experience marketing anime, Japanese IP, RPG, strategy, or similar game genres.
Hands-on experience localizing Asian-origin games or entertainment for Western audiences.
Working knowledge of tools such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, AppLovin, Unity Ads, AppsFlyer, or Adjust.
Experience collaborating with international or Japan-based teams is a plus.
