Job Summary

Own in-person outreach to educate and enroll patients in value-based care at dialysis clinics, with a strong focus on field relationships, compliant communication, and data-driven improvement.

Clinic-level engagement and stakeholder relationships to enable compliant marketing and enrollment support.
In-depth briefings on benefits, eligibility, and care-management to drive informed coverage decisions.
Travel four days per week to clinics with optional weekend events to collect feedback and improve local marketing and retention.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Represent the value-based care program’s affiliated health plans within dialysis clinics and the surrounding community to raise awareness, build trust, and support informed patient coverage decisions.
Build strong relationships with in-clinic staff—facility administrators, social workers, and administrative assistants—to facilitate coordinated, compliant marketing efforts.
Develop a strong understanding of the plan’s benefits, eligibility criteria, and the role of care management in driving better health outcomes for members.
Partner with assigned brokers to support enrollment of interested patients.
Communicate plan and program information in a clear, ethical, and compliant manner—ensuring CMS marketing guidelines and internal compliance guardrails are followed.
Track engagement and field activity metrics to support performance evaluation and continuous improvement.
Potential to represent the plan at community events or engage existing members for retention activities.
Travel to clinic locations at least four days per week to speak with kidney care patients, caregivers, and clinic staff.
Occasional option to work Saturdays and evening events, if desired

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Active Health and Life Insurance License from the state of California required
Must reside near the Los Angeles or Orange County areas and possess a valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint)

Preferred

Medicare Advantage marketing experience strongly preferred
2–4 years of experience in healthcare marketing, insurance sales, grassroots outreach, or community engagement preferred
Bilingual / Spanish-speaking strongly preferred
