Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring in viral content creation via the Varsity Tutors platform
• Teach content ideation, production techniques, and distribution strategy for viral reach
• Guide students through identifying trending topics, writing hooks, and creating engaging short-form and long-form content
• Analyze performance metrics and iterate based on audience response data
• Adapt instruction using content planning templates, production practice, and analytics reviews
• Help students build authentic personal brands and content career development
• Demonstrate strong communication and adapt to different learner styles
• Utilize Live Learning Platform and Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of content strategy, platform algorithms, and audience engagement techniques across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter/X
• Knowledge of video/visual content production and copywriting for social media
• Experience with trend analysis and analytics interpretation
• Ability to explain virality mechanics, hooks, and content repurposing for careers and personal branding
• Curriculum awareness and adaptive instruction approaches for content creation
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style

• Prior online tutoring or teaching experience
• Experience with content creation curricula or coaching aspiring creators
