Job Description

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, marketing, or a related field with 10+ years of experience in communications, media, marketing, or public relations; or a Master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience managing and executing communications initiatives that align with company-wide goals and growth strategies.
  • Proven ability to anticipate and address emerging issues, collaborate with stakeholders, and recommend effective solutions independently.
  • Expertise in crafting internal and external messaging tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Strong background in strategic communications planning, including establishing clear objectives and measurable KPIs.
  • Demonstrated success in fostering productive relationships with senior leaders, including executives and external partners.
  • Knowledgeable in best practices and tools for measuring communication effectiveness.

Preferred

  • Previous experience taking new technical products to market.
  • Communications experience within the Department of Defense or the broader federal government.
  • Prior experience working for a fast-paced high growth start-up.
