Business Employee Communications Associate Director: Pratt & Whitney

Responsibilities

• Lead SBU Communications Strategy
• Develop and execute a unified employee communication strategy across all three SBUs, aligned to the RTX mission and Pratt & Whitney’s business purpose and priorities.
• Drive alignment through consistent messaging, integrated storytelling and communications that support a connected, engaging employee experience.
• Build channel strategies and manage multi-channel content plans that effectively reach both wired and non-wired employees.
• Leverage advanced analytics, emerging communications technologies, and AI-enabled tools to measure impact and refine strategy.
• Ensure communications are aligned, timely, and coordinated with Pratt & Whitney’s senior communications team and across matrixed partners.
• Integrate change-readiness communications to support employees through transformation.
• Lead and develop a team of communicators supporting Pratt & Whitney employee communications work.
• Lead SBU Communications
• Own strategy, planning, and execution for one SBU’s employee communications portfolio.

Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience
• Experience developing and executing enterprise‑level internal communications strategies.
• Experience supporting senior leaders with executive communications and employee messaging.
• Willingness and ability to be onsite regularly in East Hartford, CT.
