Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain The Balm In Gilead, Inc.’s social media platforms: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across all platforms
- Write clear, compelling, and on-brand copy for posts, captions, and video content
- Design high-quality visuals using professional design software (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, etc.), including graphics, reels, carousels, and promotional materials
- Record, edit, and produce short-form and long-form video content for social media
- Develop strategy and manage a content calendar aligned with organizational goals
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and foster online community growth
- Stay up to date with social media trends and platform updates to optimize performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing
- Advanced proficiency in creating polished, branded graphics, presentations, and social media content using professional design tools (i.e. Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, etc.)
- Proven experience recording and editing video content for social media platforms
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
- Ability to manage multiple platforms and projects simultaneously
