Social Media Intern | Rise North Capital

Responsibilities

• Help plan and maintain a social media content calendar
• Brainstorm and draft captions, posts, and short-form video ideas
• Help capture photos and video and create content for LinkedIn and other RNC social media channels
• Gather approved stories and updates from teams across the company
• Prepare content using company-approved tools and follow RNC’s brand guidelines
• Track basic engagement and help summarize what content is performing well
• Follow RNC’s content approval process; public-facing content must be reviewed and approved before posting

Requirements

• A driven, hardworking, attentive, and reliable person
• A self-starter who can learn new tools and processes independently, use available resources, and work through problems
• Someone who takes initiative and asks thoughtful questions when they need direction
• A person who follows through, accepts feedback, and meets deadlines
• Clear communication skills and an interest in social media or content creation
• Comfort using social media platforms and willingness to learn new tools
• Current enrollment in a college marketing program is preferred. A degree, specific educational background, or prior work experience is not required.

Preferred

• Experience with Canva, video editing, photography, or social media analytics is welcome, but not required.
