Social Media Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Create and publish social content -
• Write, create, schedule, and publish social media content based on approved strategy and priorities.
• Turn content plans, departmental priorities, partner opportunities, and timely needs into social media posts.
• Develop social content ideas within the Division Head’s strategy and direction.
• Repurpose approved content for appropriate social channels.
• Manage the social media calendar -
• Maintain the day-to-day social media calendar.
• Assign content to the appropriate channels and formats.
• Recommend posting dates and times.
• Track copy, assets, approvals, scheduling, and publishing status.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications
• 2+ years’ experience in a corporate, agency or government marketing organization
• Excellent command of spoken and written English language
• Must be a confident communicator and be able to navigate multiple groups of people including Marketing, Public & Government Affairs, Communications, and outside partners.
• Able to influence and collaborate with key stakeholders
