Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead development of an organization-wide paid media strategy and playbooks, including agency selection, onboarding, and ongoing management.
Act as the primary point of contact and campaign lead between internal stakeholders and agency partners, ensuring all efforts support key business goals.
Build, launch, optimize, and report on campaigns directly across major digital media channels (Meta/Facebook, Google, TikTok, Display).
Own and manage paid media budgets, tailoring strategies for efficient acquisition and retention.
Develop targeting frameworks and creative optimization strategies (including AI tool utilization for creative iteration and data analysis).
Design and implement structured A/B tests for creative, targeting, bid strategies, and funnels; build reusable case studies and playbooks.
Translate merchant business objectives into tactical paid media plans and communicate results effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Analyze performance across the full funnel, measuring through attribution modeling, incrementality, and partnership with analytics teams.
Own and execute regular reporting cadences, providing actionable insights and transparency on performance, growth opportunities, and optimization needs.

Requirements

6+ years of direct, hands-on paid media experience (campaign setup, launch, and ongoing optimization).
Advanced expertise with major ad platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.).
Proven ability to build and document structured testing programs; translate learnings into playbooks.
Experience managing or partnering with external media agencies in a campaign leadership capacity.
Strong analytical skills; proficiency with attribution modeling, full-funnel and incrementality analysis.
Experience building paid media strategies for external clients or partners, and with clear reporting and communication.
Comfortable using AI tools for creative and performance workflows, and curious about emerging ad tech.
Self-starter, able to set processes and operate independently without a fixed playbook.

Nice to Have

Experience in digital agency or agency-client environments.
Experience supporting restaurants, local merchants, or marketplaces/delivery verticals.
Familiarity with mobile app marketing or attribution tools (e.g., Adjust, AppsFlyer).
Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager or conversion tracking setup.
Experience with subscription or digital services marketing.
