Job Summary
A Senior Brand Marketing Officer will own the development and execution of global brand campaigns, organic marketing, and partnerships to drive awareness, donor acquisition, and retention, while translating program impact into compelling storytelling and measuring performance across channels.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute organic marketing strategies that increase awareness, generate donor leads, and build lasting supporter engagement.
- Lead integrated brand campaigns, including World Food Day and World Humanitarian Day, that support fundraising and audience growth.
- Lead a website refresh to improve navigation, content, organic traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
- Identify and manage strategic brand partnerships that expand reach and connect Action Against Hunger with new audiences.
- Translate program impact and technical expertise into compelling stories, campaigns, and thought leadership content for donors, media, and the public.
- Collaborate with fundraising, communications, partnerships, programs, and country offices to align marketing initiatives and strengthen donor retention.
- Establish KPIs, manage brand performance dashboards, and use insights to improve engagement, conversion, and fundraising outcomes.
- Test messaging, creative assets, channels, landing pages, and user journeys to improve marketing performance.
- Monitor digital trends, platform changes, and emerging technologies, including AI, to improve processes and campaign delivery.
- Share brand partnership and organizational updates with employees to support internal awareness and engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of marketing experience driving measurable business or brand growth.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate performance data into practical recommendations.
- Exceptional communication, writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work across a global, matrixed organization and collaborate with colleagues in international markets.
- Highly organized and detail oriented, with initiative, ownership, and the ability to adapt as priorities evolve.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- English proficiency required. Working knowledge of Spanish or French is a plus, but not essential.
- Commitment to Action Against Hunger’s mission, integrity, and respectful collaboration with diverse teams.
- Availability for domestic and international travel, including field visits, and work outside normal office hours as required.
Preferred
- MBA or master’s degree is a plus.
