Job Summary

Own and scale the marketing automation platform and campaigns while leading the Dev & Deployment team and driving AI-enabled lifecycle optimization across channels.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and Develop the Dev & Deployment team, setting priorities, reviewing build quality, and growing technical capabilities across direct reports and contractors.
  • Own resourcing and workload planning across template/campaign builds, journey development, and infrastructure work, aligned to Lifecycle Marketing's OKRs.
  • Build scalable, reusable infrastructure with Marketing Technology, Product, Data, and Engineering to reduce ad hoc builds and integrate AI across the patient lifecycle.
  • Document processes, maintain performance dashboards, and ensure workflows and data integrations meet HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Own campaign operations end-to-end, covering deliverability, resourcing, timelines, QA, and stakeholder communication across email, SMS, and push.
  • Serve as the internal platform expert on Iterable and supporting tools (Mailgun, Twilio), troubleshooting operational issues for internal teams.
  • Design and run experimentation frameworks, including AI-powered A/B and multivariate testing, to improve engagement, retention, and conversion.
  • Evaluate emergent AI tools and bring new channels and contextual personalization into the patient journey, grounded in behavioral data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Analytics, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 7 to 10 years owning a marketing automation platform as a technical operator, not just a campaign builder, managing the platform's technical backbone (data feeds, API integrations, event schemas, content/template infrastructure) and any technical staff or contractors.
  • Iterable proficiency strongly preferred, including hands-on experience with workflows, catalogs, webhooks, API-based sends, and real-time event-driven triggers; experience with comparable customer engagement platforms (Braze, HubSpot, Customer.io , Marketo) considered.
  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with data warehouses (Snowflake or similar), CDPs, CRM systems, and real-time event tracking/streaming pipelines (e.g., Segment), able to write and troubleshoot queries independently, not just read dashboards.
  • Solutions architecture experience: designing how marketing systems connect to product, data engineering, and clinical/operational systems: trigger logic, suppression rules, schema design, event instrumentation, and real-time decisioning in direct partnership with Data Engineering and Product.
  • Comfort operating in a regulated, healthcare environment, with HIPAA familiarity strongly preferred, including how compliance shapes data handling, integrations, and communication workflows.
  • Working knowledge of applying AI/ML models in lifecycle marketing (send-time optimization, content personalization, predictive segmentation), with enough technical depth to evaluate vendor claims and integration requirements rather than just use the outputs.

3.0 Glassdoor

Talkiatry is a national mental health practice that provides in-network psychiatry and therapy. We were co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve the problems both groups face in accessing and providing the highest quality mental healthcare. 60% of adults in the U.S. with a diagnosable mental illness go untreated every year because care is inaccessible, while 45% of clinicians are out of network with insurers because reimbursement rates are low and paperwork is unduly burdensome. With innovative technology and a human-centered philosophy, we provide patients with the care they need—and allow psychiatrists to focus on why they got into medicine. We’re proud to be a Great Place to Work®-certified company. Want to transform psychiatry with us?
