Own and optimize paid search campaigns end to end, translating client objectives into buying and optimization strategies, collaborating across teams, and communicating insights to drive results.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and optimize search campaigns against defined performance goals.
  • Translate client objectives into clear buying and optimization strategies.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure campaign quality and process adherence.
  • Deliver insights, recommendations, and proactive client communication to showcase a strong understanding of the paid search landscape and the latest products, solutions, consumer behaviors, and best practices.
  • Leverage Basis tools and AI to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Follow established processes and collaborate smoothly across teams.
  • Test new strategies and tactics, adopt a growth mindset, and provide visibility into optimizations and results for cross-functional teams
  • Develop strong problem solving abilities to identify and troubleshoot technical issues with creative, tactics, URL’s, pixels, ad management platforms, and other campaign settings when necessary (this may include adopting new processes or workflow modifications to ensure accountability)
  • Invest in learning and sharing knowledge that strengthens the team.
  • Adopt and help improve Basis features and best practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of search buying experience
  • Strong optimization, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with first-party and third-party data and tagging/pixel placement
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Strong critical and strategic thinking
  • Precise attention to detail
  • Commitment to creating inclusive, respectful environments where all voices are valued and supported.
  • Thoughtful approach to collaboration, design, and decision-making that prioritizes equity, access, and continuous learning.

Preferred

  • Experience in an agency setting
  • Google Ads certified
  • Experience or exposure to DSP and Social media buying
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • AI enablement/automation experience
