Job Description

Responsibilities

- Develop and manage SEO strategies for multiple clients
- Perform keyword research, site audits, GEO audits and keyword mapping
- Write and optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headings, service pages, location pages and FAQs
- Conduct competitor research to find gaps and opportunities
- Manage Google Business Profiles, including posts, review responses, photos and listing cleanup
- Build and maintain citations and backlinks
- Keep business information accurate and consistent across listings
- Identify and resolve technical issues such as crawlability, indexing, site speed and mobile usability
- Implement schema markup, internal linking and redirects in WordPress, Wix and Shopify
- Work with client developers on fixes that need their access

Requirements

- 2+ years of proven experience managing SEO accounts and driving organic growth, ideally for local service businesses
- A portfolio or case studies showing SEO results, such as before and after rankings, traffic growth or a Google Business Profile turned into a lead source
- Hands-on experience with major SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SE Ranking, Semrush or Ahrefs
- Experience working in WordPress, Wix and Shopify sites
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data and KPIs
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Solid project management and the ability to juggle 10+ clients at once
- Ability to analyze and interpret performance metrics
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and tracking setup

Preferred

- Experience with GEO and AI search visibility (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity)
- Schema markup written by hand in JSON-LD
- Familiarity with Local Services Ads or Google Ads
- Experience with Monday.com
- Experience running SEO for clients across different industries and locations, from single-location shops to multi-location businesses
