Responsibilities

Press & PR - Draft press releases for new collection launches, brand partnerships, and major announcements - Review and proofread editorial copy prepared by media partners, publishers, and external agencies for factual accuracy, brand voice, and editorial consistency - Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Development, and Leadership to ensure accuracy across all press materials - Support the PR team with reactive copy, media pitches, and event communications - Build and maintain core brand messaging, boilerplate copy, product descriptions, and approved language libraries for use across regions and partners Social Media - Write captions for Jacob Arabo's personal Instagram account — conversational, direct, and reflective of his voice; no hashtags, no calls to action - Develop copy for the Jacob & Co. main brand account across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn - Write copy for the Jacob & Co. jewelry-specific social presence - Adapt tone and format appropriately across platforms while maintaining brand consistency - Collaborate with the social and creative teams on content calendars and campaign rollouts Newsletter & Email - Write newsletter copy for brand campaigns, product launches, and brand milestones - Craft subject lines and preview text that drive open rates without compromising brand voice - Partner with the marketing team on audience segmentation and message strategy Video & Scripted Content - Write voiceover scripts and on-screen copy for brand films, product videos, and ambassador content - Translate complex watchmaking or gem-setting narratives into clear, compelling scripted language - Collaborate with video producers and creative directors during pre-production Brand & Campaign Copy - Develop copy for campaign activations, events, collaborations, and pop-ups - Write copy for ambassador and partnership announcements across channels - Produce copy for real estate and lifestyle project extensions of the Jacob & Co. brand - Maintain and evolve the internal brand voice guide in partnership with Creative leadership - Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to refine messaging, prepare talking points, and ensure narrative consistency. Partner & Collaboration Copy Review - Review and approve all copy published by partners, ambassadors, and collaborators on their own channels in connection with Jacob & Co. projects — including captions, campaign posts, product descriptions, and co-branded materials - Ensure all partner-facing copy aligns with Jacob & Co. brand voice, tone standards, and style guidelines before going live - Provide clear, actionable feedback to partners and their teams when revisions are required - Work with the Marketing team to establish copy review checkpoints within partnership workflows - Serve as the final written brand guardian for any external content that carries the Jacob & Co. name

Requirements

5+ years of copywriting experience, with a significant portion in luxury — fashion, jewelry, watches, automotive, hospitality, or adjacent sectors
A portfolio that demonstrates genuine range: social captions, long-form narrative, press materials, and scripted content
Exceptional command of voice — you can write for a brand, a founder, and a press release in the same week and make each one sound right
Deep familiarity with luxury brand standards: restraint, specificity, and craft-forward storytelling
Comfortable working at speed across multiple workstreams without compromising quality
Highly collaborative — you will work cross-functionally with Creative, Marketing, PR, and external partners daily
Strong editorial instincts and a sharp eye for when a single word is wrong
Fluency in French is a plus, not a requirement
