Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Social media (organic and paid): Plan, run, and optimize campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, X, and other emerging platforms.
• Search marketing: Manage paid search campaigns (e.g., Google Ads) and improve our organic rankings through SEO.
• AI visibility (GEO): Increase how often our brand shows up in AI-powered search and assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, and manage advertising campaigns on AI platforms like ChatGPT.
• Customer retention: Develop strategies to grow repeat customers and repeat orders.
• Email marketing: Plan and execute email campaigns, from promotions to customer nurture flows.
• Strategy and direction: Build marketing plans focused on brand awareness and lead generation, and brief our creative and web team with clear instructions for photo, video, and website needs.
• Measurement: Track performance, learn from the data, and continually test new ideas.

Requirements

• A background in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, or a related field
• Creativity: you bring fresh ideas and aren’t afraid to try new things
• Strategic thinking: you can explain _why_ a campaign should work, not just _what_ to post
• Clear communication skills, especially when directing creative work
• Curiosity about AI search, new platforms, and where marketing is heading
• Self-motivation and organization in a remote environment
