Job Summary

Own the admissions growth and physician-network development for a senior living center, coordinating cross-functional marketing with clinical leadership to optimize service levels and revenue mix.

  • Growth & Stakeholder Alignment: Drive census growth by building referrals and maintaining product knowledge with physicians, hospital staff, and care coordinators.
  • Operations & Quality: Collaborate with administrators and nursing to monitor clinical service levels and environment.
  • Revenue Awareness: Maintain an informed view of payer sources and revenue impact across the center.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Regularly and customarily spends majority of his/her time engaged in growing admissions.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of the centers products, services, capabilities and physician relations
  • Takes active role in morning Kick-Off Meeting
  • Meets weekly with Administrator/department heads to discuss marketing issues
  • Meets regularly with nursing to discuss clinical service levels
  • Evaluates center physical environment through weekly rounds and discusses with Administrator
  • Maintains an educated understanding of all payer sources and their impact on revenue.

Requirements

  • Must be comfortable working with Barnes Jewish Hospital
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, health care or related business field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years direct sales experience targeted to physicians, hospital personnel and case managers preferred.
  • Proven success in personally developing referrals for a medical product from health care target markets (physicians, hospitals and case managers).
  • Evidence of a local referral network from which to develop referrals.
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior, exhibiting high self-confidence, enthusiasm, assertiveness and a desire to succeed.
  • Must be a team player and have the ability to establish working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Experience With Local Community Groups Preferred.
  • Presents professional image through appearance, behavior and speech.
