HITEK (a trading name of a1-cbiss) is a well established calibration house based in Horsham, West Sussex providing Onsite, Mobile and UKAS Laboratory Calibration of Airflow, Audio, DC & LF, Dimensional, EHT, Electrical, Humidity, Pressure, RF & Microwave, Temperature and Torque measuring instrumentation. HITEK was one of the first calibration houses to offer an onsite mobile calibration laboratory, which is now a highly successful part of the business. Here at HITEK we offer two types of traceable calibration:1) STANDARD CALIBRATIONThis type of calibration is traceable to both national and / or international standards where applicable.For any calibration that has no standard to work to we will carry out the calibration against the manufacturer’s specification and procedures.A standard calibration is calibrated against our own standards which themselves are traceable to national or international standards (Usually UKAS or its international equivalent under the ILAC agreement)2) UKAS CALIBRATIONUKAS calibrations are carried out against ISOEN17025 and are a far more accurate type of calibration. These calibrations take longer to perform and the certificate has far more detail, in particular when it comes to the measurement uncertainties.ISO9001 & BSEN17025 ACCREDITATIONSOur UKAS accreditation and ISO accreditation follow the same quality system and manual, we are accredited to ISO 17025 and ISO9001.
