Marketing and Events Director

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual marketing plan and promotional calendar across all RMHTH brands (Mountain Hot Tub, Aqua Vita Spas, Crystal River Spas and Wolfgang’s Spa Works) and existing markets (Bozeman, Big Sky, Helena, Butte, Missoula, Whitefish, Jackson, Steamboat Springs, Aspen and Taos)
• Lead marketing launch plans for new markets and integration of marketing for acquired businesses
• Establish brand standards (logo, voice, signage, vehicles, uniforms and showroom merchandising) and ensure consistent execution across locations
• Lead the brand architecture decision across Mountain Hot Tub, Crystal River Spas, Aqua Vita Spas, and Wolfgang’s Spa Works evaluating a unified brand versus an endorsed approach (e.g., “Aqua Vita Spas, a Mountain Hot Tub Company”), and execute the chosen strategy
• Coordinate with manufacturer partners on promotions, product launches and co-op programs
• Own the advertising and marketing for outdoor event program end to end, including tent sales, parking-lot and off-site events, home and garden shows and community events: site selection, permits, vendor contracts, inventory, signage and inflatables, staffing and post-event review
• Plan and execute our semiannual in-store sales events, including offer, pricing and financing promotions developed with sales leadership and General Managers
• Build repeatable event playbooks, checklists and timelines so events run consistently in every market
• Drive pre-event demand and post-event follow-up through paid media, email/SMS and local media, with lead capture at every event
• Measure each event’s results (traffic, leads, units sold, revenue and gross margin) against its cost

Requirements

• 7+ years of marketing experience
• Proven experience in multi-location retail, home services or big-ticket consumer products preferred (e.g., hot tubs and pools, mattresses, HVAC, roofing, furniture, powersports/RV or home improvement)
• Demonstrated track record planning and running high-volume sales events, such as tent sales, off-site promotions or consumer shows, with measurable sales results
• Hands-on experience with paid search, paid social, SEO and marketing analytics, including managing agencies
• Experience with multi-brand marketing, brand consolidation or integrating acquired businesses is a plus
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed to coordinate and execute marketing initiatives and sales events
• Must live in, or have reasonable commuting ability, to the locations under your purview as needed
• Strong leadership and a player-coach mindset: able to set strategy, motivate a small team and roll up your sleeves
• Data-driven, with working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, CRM/marketing automation tools and Excel
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to run multiple events and campaigns at once against firm deadlines
