Marketing Engagement Specialist

Responsibilities

• High-Volume Prospecting: Conduct daily outreach to targeted businesses through cold calls, in-person visits, and networking events to generate new leads.
• Engage Decision-Makers: Introduce Jani-King's services, ask discovery questions, and determine fit for our solutions.
• Territory Management: Plan and execute daily routes to maximize coverage across Melville and the greater Long Island business corridor, from Garden City and Hauppauge to Hicksville, Commack, and Farmingdale.
• Brand & Event Representation: Attend local business events, expos, and chamber of commerce functions as a face of the Jani-King brand in the community.
• Marketing Collaboration: Partner with our Marketing team on messaging, campaigns, and local promotional materials — sharing field insights that shape how we reach new prospects.
• Appointment Scheduling & Follow-Up: Book qualified appointments for the sales team, revisit prior contacts, and keep the pipeline active.

Requirements

• Prior sales, prospecting, or customer development experience preferred
• Interest in marketing, branding, or business development a plus
• Proven ability to meet activity-based goals and performance metrics
• Strong communication skills with a professional and approachable style
• Highly motivated, organized, and able to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience a plus
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance coverage for daily travel
