Marketing Director

Responsibilities

• The Marketing Director is responsible for leading the development and execution of the company's marketing strategy across brand building, portfolio management, innovation, and consumer and shopper communications. This is a leadership role requiring the ability to lead, manage, and develop a marketing team to achieve the company's brand vision and business goals.
• Marketing Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, manage, and develop the marketing team, providing clear direction, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Assign projects and manage deadlines while maintaining accountability for results.
• Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution of marketing activities.
• Review team performance, provide coaching and feedback, and support professional development.
• Establish marketing calendars, priorities, and project timelines.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure marketing initiatives support overall business objectives.
• Marketing Strategy
• Define and champion the long-term vision, growth strategy, positioning, and portfolio direction for Brown & Haley brands, including ALMOND ROCA, Heart of ROCA, KRISPY SHARK, and FRUTASTIC, translating enterprise priorities and consumer insights into clear choices for each brand.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Degree in Marketing, Business, Management, Finance, or a related field preferred
• MBA preferred but not required
• 7+ years of relevant experience in brand management, marketing, innovation, strategy, media, or creative
• Consumer products experience required; food industry experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing long-term brand strategies and annual brand plans based on consumer insights, market intelligence, and business priorities
• Experience leading brand activation initiatives, including consumer campaigns, creative development, media planning, and engagement programs
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate insights into action
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
