Job Summary

Support city marketing by executing light content, coordinating cross‑department messaging, and tracking campaign performance to drive improvements.

  • Own light content creation and editing for newsletters, social captions, briefs, and reports.
  • Must meet minimum education and experience: bachelor’s in marketing/communications/PR and at least 2 years of marketing work.
  • Strong cross‑department collaboration with Economic Development, Airport, Bridge, and CVB.

Responsibilities

  • Content Execution & Editorial Support: drafts and edits light content for digital channels.
  • Content tagging and review for brand consistency and grammar.
  • Media performance tracking: collect campaign data and support ROI analysis.
  • Identify metrics and support internal reporting to flag optimization opportunities.
  • Interdepartmental collaboration with Economic Development, Airport, Bridge, and CVB to align messaging.
  • Attend meetings to ensure branding consistency across divisions and provide timely feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • At least two years of marketing experience; communications experience preferred.
  • Valid Texas Driver License (out-of-state license must convert within 6 months).

Preferred

  • Experience in communications is preferred.
