Own the social media and content engine, turning complex scholarly topics into engaging stories across LinkedIn, Bluesky, X, and YouTube while scaling production with AI and measuring impact across channels.

  • Analyze performance data to optimize engagement, audience reach, and growth opportunities
  • Champion brand consistency and integrate MarTech tools to track results and iterate content plans

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and execute Scholastica’s social media strategies across LinkedIn, Bluesky, X, and YouTube
  • Brainstorm, research, write, and edit high-quality, brand-aligned content across digital channels, including blog posts, case studies, email campaigns, and videos
  • Serve as a champion of the brand, ensuring clarity and consistency across all touchpoints
  • Help analyze content performance data, track engagement trends, and identify opportunities for growth and optimization
  • Hone your knowledge of the scholarly publishing industry to produce content for professionals at various levels and translate complex topics into engaging stories
  • Leverage AI to scale content production while maintaining a strong, authentic voice
  • Support content performance tracking with our MarTech systems and system maintenance
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in communications, marketing, writing, or a related field (journalism backgrounds are encouraged!)
  • Experience managing social media accounts and creating platform-specific content
  • Excellent research, writing, and editing skills with strong attention to detail and grammar
  • Ability to understand complex industry topics and communicate them effectively
  • Visual and multimedia content creation skills (Canva design, video editing, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to increase engagement and drive measurable marketing results
  • Self-starter who is collaborative, reliable, and continuously looking for ways to improve
Preferred
  • Experience running and optimizing LinkedIn ad campaigns is a plus
  • Any MarTech experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of scholarly publishing is a plus
