Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead SGU’s overall marketing strategy and ensure a consistent brand and voice across the organization.
  • Develop and oversee social media strategy and content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
  • Coordinate marketing for SGU programs, events, partnerships, fundraising campaigns, and national initiatives.
  • Manage outside creative support, including graphic design, photography, video, and other vendors as needed.
  • Track marketing and social media performance and use insights to strengthen strategy.
  • Develop and manage SGU’s paid digital advertising strategy across Google and social platforms, including activating and optimizing SGU’s Google Ad Grant and identifying opportunities for future paid campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Excellent writer and storyteller with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience managing social media and multi-channel communications.
  • Able to think strategically while also being comfortable executing when needed.
  • Strong project-management skills and ability to coordinate across teams.
  • Comfortable building systems and delegating—not personally creating every piece of content.
  • Nonprofit, sports, youth development, or donor communications experience is a plus.
  • Passion for SGU’s mission and the power of sport, mentorship, and mental skills to empower girls.

  • We’re open to hiring at either level based on experience.
