Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to grow audience reach and engagement.
  • Manage Lotus’ social media presence, including content planning, scheduling, publishing, and performance tracking, in coordination with team members and programming.
  • Manage Lotus’ website content and help update and improve the website, including organizing content, improving messaging, and user experience.
  • Member communications within the Circle app.
  • Support marketing and develop and implement a marketing strategy, including social media.
  • Monitor marketing and communications performance and use insights to improve content effectiveness, audience engagement, and campaign results.
  • Write and manage newsletter strategy in accordance with offerings.
  • Provide tech support for online events in coordination with other team members, and assistance for in-person events where needed
  • Other hosted events that are in the evening
  • Provide post-production for event recordings, including editing, formatting, and sharing with participants

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital content
  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills across web, email, and social media
  • Experience developing and managing marketing and social media strategy and content calendars
  • Ability to use data and audience insights to improve marketing performance
  • Proficiency with tools such as Squarespace (CMS), Canva, iMovie or Wondershare, Google Workspace, Youtube, email marketing, and social scheduling tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Collaborative, clear communicator who works well on a small team
  • Alignment with Lotus’ mission and values

Preferred

  • Experience with email marketing, segmentation, and campaign analytics
  • Familiarity with website optimization and SEO
  • Experience with Circle or similar community platforms
  • Experience with webinar tech support and video/audio post-production
  • Background in a mission-driven, nonprofit, wellness, or education-focused organization
  • Bilingual in Spanish is great
  • This role is ideal for an experienced marketing coordinator who can move fluidly between big-picture strategy and hands-on execution, while also providing technical and production support for virtual and in-person events. This position is fully remote, with a salary of $27/hour for 15-20 hours per week.
